Sexual diversity studies display

At the start of term I put up a display showing some of our new books in sexual diversity studies (such as the novel Landing, the memoir What becomes you, and the history book Gay life and culture). If you’d like to check out our display case, it’s halfway up the stairs leading to Laidlaw Library.

Lots of interesting new books

Today I posted a list of books recently added to the Laidlaw collection. Lots of interesting titles including The unexpected war: Canada in Kandahar; Oliver Sacks’s Musicophilia; Anna Porter’s Kasztner’s train; Infidel by Ayaan Hirsi Ali; and The case for literature by Nobel laureate Xingjian Gao.

We’ve just begun working on several boxes of books ordered from Playwrights Canada Press and Theatrebooks, so expect lots of  drama in our next new books list…
